So the USA troops attacking above 10,000ft in mountains the enemy knows like the back of it's hand, with 20 yrs+ experience of fanatical guerrilla warfare back off a little? Big deal. They have a big learning curve to go up. USA is playing this one just right. Minimum casualties, fast learning. Given time and learning plus hi tech they will grind the terrorists down imho. Just a few of them with some other help kicked them off the plains, next the mountains. The Brits are friendly with some bad mountain boys in Nepal who can help out if required, I am sure.
