It refuses to allow me to install my old Office 97 -- apparently it thinks I've pirated the software

This type of code is nonsense; I understand that they want to protect revenues, but annoying honest users is not the way to go. I switched to Star Office this past year. Although I am no fan of SUNW or Scott McNealey, the package is very attractive and basically free, versus about $500 for MS Office, which I believe is highway robbery(and then they wonder why do people pirate?!?!).
