Dr. Viterbi Joins Flarion Board in Jan 2001 (paraphrased) Imo, that PR is not evidence for your proposal that "Dr. Viterbi is doing some great things with OFDM these days". Is Dr. Viterbi saying, "I am pleased to be associated with Flarion and *look forward to contributing* to its success" evidence? Is Flarion saying "Dr. Viterbi *will play a key role* in shaping the company's future and technology" evidence? Not imo. After all, Dr. Viterbi was just then joining the BOD. A recent example of an actual contribution to Flarion would be evidence. That PR is not. And I stand by my post - the good Dr. is enjoying a well deserved retirement. Ron P.S. Don't get me wrong. I'm been an admirer of Dr. Viterbi's work for many years.
