Availability Desktop PCs based on the AMD Athlon XP processor 2100+ are expected to be immediately available from leading computer manufacturers worldwide, including Compaq Computer Corporation, Fujitsu-Siemens Computers, and NEC-CI. Availability of the new AMD Athlon MP processor 2000+ for servers and workstations is planned immediately from manufacturers worldwide, including RackSaver and BOXX Technologies, among others. Compaq also plans to have notebook PCs powered by the mobile AMD Athlon 4 processor 1600+ available soon on a configure-to-order basis, with retail availability to follow. wbmw
