The market swingeth both ways. In reference to the valuation of YHOO, I was thinking that in 1982, during a recession and bear market, Ford Motor stock was selling at 15 bucks a share with a p/e of 3 or something. Totally unrealistic, but that was a market looking backwards at slowing auto sales and punishing the company. Once the market took off, so did Ford: bigcharts.marketwatch.com
