I think you are just reinforcing my point ;-)
(Since memory and hard drives are components external
to CPU, while the "QuaniSpeed" is more like a
measure of CPU's internal efficiency)

"If AMD wants to keep up the credibility with "QuantiSpeed," they'll have to marry their fastest CPUs with the best components. Excuses like "But the graphics held it back!" are not going to fly well with the consumer."

If it flies with i815 (on-chip video) systems, and with P4
with 845 SDRAM, why should AMD do any differently?
