A friend of mine who does computer consulting told me a story. He was called in by a company when their computer got very slow and started crashing. It turns out that the secretary wasn't very astute in word processing, and was putting everything she did in her word processor in one huge file, and highlighting and printing each section as she needed it. The file, of course, was getting enormous, far too big for the wordprocessor or computer to handle.
