assuming that the market is ready to absorb 100% more chips, sounds great to me. Otherwise it is just a variable cost

indeed it is so horrid to imagine that amd would not be able to double their unit shipments this quarter. :-))

It makes it funny that with all intel's production capacity we arrive to the only possible conclusion that amd's single fab, that produces 20% of what market demand, got real yield problems as compared to intel.

and, yep, I know that intel's chips are much larger :-))
