If anyone should be on ignore, it should be you...nice mouth.

This isn't Yahoo, it is SI and most people treat other people with respect.

Rumors are an important factor in the stock market, like it or not.
If everyone else knows a rumor about one of your stocks, wouldn't you like to know what people are saying, so that you have the opportunity to decide for yourself, whether you want to believe it or not?

It is also important to know why the stock is moving up or down, and if it is because of a rumor, maybe you want to buy on the dip knowing that the rumor will be proven false. In other words, CNBC is doing what they are suppose to, supplying the audience with the cause of a particular stock moving.
