Chill, I wasn't "dissing" our soldiers. Facts are that the fighters we are against there are on the move all the time and have stashes of food and supplies hidden in many locations, so they don't have to carry a lot. There's no way our guys can keep up with them on the ground while carrying 100lbs(or whatever) of equipment around with them. Our soldiers have been getting frost bite while the opposition keeps relatively warm in their caves. The opposition have been fighting for many years there and we are new there. Is it possible under these conditions that we made a tactical withdrawal and didn't actually have a "great victory" as we were led to believe. There were lots of false reporting of how well we did in Vietnam, can you consider the possibility that there is some of the same happening in Afghanistan?
