Dale, Re: "It appears that AMD is counting on being able to reach the 90nm node using 248nm laser lithography tools... 248nm is 2.48 times 100nm" Actually, it could be that AMD intended to use 248nm lithography for the 100nm node, but when Intel announced that they would be pursuing 90nm, AMD decided that that's where they would be, too. However, it might require 193nm lithography to go down to that level. wbmw
