I said soldiers. You're narrowing it down to one or two units. I think the SAS are pretty darn good, but I don't think they're better than our spec ops. people.

SAS trained ours? So, what's the point? I don't recall our having a base in England where our troops are sent to learn the art of war from the British, on an ongoing basis. Maybe they were trained for this particular area because the British at this point in time have/had more experience, but once we learn what we need to know, don't worry about it, we'll improve on their training. LOL.

Vietnam and Afgan? Sure the US was involved in both, but the VN war was 32 years ago, there's just about no one that was in charge then, that is in charge now. In fact there's probably only a handful of actual troops that fought in the Vietnam war, that are still in the service now.
Why do assume that the tactics will the same when dealing with the public, other than you want them to be done that way. Just saying it's so, is okay, but at least make it known that's your basis.
