Actually, the Cuba Libre package looks very interesting.

One of the common complains is that DIMM sticks are hard on signal integrity of DDR. I assume all those ddr engineers are hard at work trying to extend this obstacle. With the dimm block idea, not only could you save space, it might be possible to run DDR@533MHz [hence matching the next P4 fsb with one module] (or perhaps even 800MHz for a future version).

That gets my vote for the next cool DIMM of the future.
