I admit it. Athlon xp migrates from palomino to tbred soon. Currently, it looks like that tbred is just a shrink but the follow-up, that would come only a quarter or so later, may contain larger cache and few other changes

that is fair. I know that many here object amd using the same methods as intel. :-))
