If this war isn't carried out to where it should be carried out, then I would agree that there has been a lot of money wasted. However, I believe that this is not just a war about terrorism, unless one recognizes that islam in it's entirety is terrorism.
The real enemy is not 10000 people in afgan, but the 300+ million in saudia arabia, iran, and iraq. IMO that's where this is all coming from.
That is an unpopular opinion because a lot of people are afraid or unwilling to face the truth about it all.
This is a religious war foisted upon us.
I'll save you the time of a back and forth, I believe we should just go all out against them now, I believe it's coming anyway. If we wait too long, they will acquire enough weapons to really make it difficult for us.
Their religion tells them there is no room for anyone else, and because of that IMO it's inevitable, it's just a question of when.
