What is it with you people telling me I need to leave because I differ from your self-absorbed and militaristically insane stance? Perhaps you are familiar with Chalmers Johnson's "Blowback: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire"? amazon.com Written well before the 911 wakeup call, it describes in prophetic detail why our policies abroad are insane. You may wish to inform yourself by reading the book that there's simply no way that your taste for military hardware and "action" is ever going to do anything more than create ever growing levels of retribution and fear worldwide. Cooling the situation, instead of inflaming it, the way GWB is hoping to do, is the only sane course if we take the long view. I'm thinking strategically.
