floodwallstreet.org - this was at the top of google's list on a search with 'three gorges dam', kind of a catchy title -g- ... i'd be curious too to see what Jay thinks of it, don't have a formed opinion, but have heard some of the controversy, part from a friend of my wife who has demonstrated against the project here when top chinese officials get paraded around ... this would have been three or four years ago now

On the 'floodwallstreet' part - i like the sound of that -g- ... years ago there was a lot of unreasonable static pointed at BC loggers [in addition to reasonable static], and it was pointed out at meetings that the great majority of mouthy know-nothing critics lived in the two largest, most permanent, and most obscenely ugly clearcuts in the province, Greater Vancouver and Greater Victoria ... so, it was proposed that forestry people aid them in their plight, and as a start there was formed a project to rehabilitate the main drags in their downtowns - the Campaign to Re-forest Georgia and Douglas Streets
