LOL. Hueyone, as hard of a time as I give John, I also buy into much of what he says. He makes me think in much more detail than I have in years on this stuff, which can sometimes be fun and sometimes frustrating as I dust off the cobwebs from my brain. But in good spirit, I give him as hard a time as I give everyone else. I don't take anyone at their word on anything, unless I can reason it out for myself. So little by little John has won be over to a few of his points. Also, a little disclosure here. I too am long on Cisco. I went long back in 1996 after trading the stock on and off during 1995. So I too am a long time bull. Mostly, I used to be a blind bull in Cisco, but now I'm trying to really determine if this bull has had its best days already. Thus, John and I spend so much time on these discussions which I'm sure many people think are irrelevant.

Anyway, one thing to consider. If you really buy into everything John is saying, then I'm surprised to hear you say you are long and want to buy more. John's overriding thesis is that Cisco is hopelessly overvalued and should be bought only on the greater fool theory. My thesis has been that there is value here that John isn't recognizing, which would lend validity to a continuation of a long term buy and hold on the stock. Anyway, we'll continue to duke it out. Every quarter as Cisco comes out of the recession, they are posting stronger numbers. Eventually, even John might have to admit that the company has long term potential and is a good buy at these levels.
