WED's SXSW results: started the night off with a great local band: Foscoe Jones then off to the Austin Music Awards just in time to catch Asleep at the Wheel..yeee haaaa over to Stubbs for the excellent blistering guit-steel of mr Junior Brown..damn that guy is a killer...every music fan should be required to catch his set Ended the night with Brown Whornet...don coolio One cool thing about SXSW, from a fan's point, is the artists basically sign away all their rights to everything...in other words....cameras are allowed and I have some choice shots from last night's showcases I was unable to get in to the "They Might Be Giants" showcase due to the massive crowd already lining up hours prior to..
