Why is it late?

All MAD had to do was slip in some SOI wafers and shrink everything else, right?

That's what I've been thinking, that it would be very problematic for AMD because of:

1. AMD's track record and obvious inferiority to Intel in process and manufacturing engineering.

2. SOI development, on top of an already difficult for AMD 0.13 development, is like trouble².

Of course, I'm a stranger in paradise in this aspect of the business, but I can usually put 2 and 2 together.
