Rudedog, >I would suspect that Intel will provide everything needed to offer 8-way machines that look like 16 ways using the new Xeon chips, so there should be a less proprietary way for DELL to go after that market if they ever decide to go there. You mean 16 ways that look like 8 ways because of SMT?
