Without major news that brings in institutions en masse, no stock moves more than 1 or 2 percent on the last day of expiry..

The reason being it would be too easy for everyone to hit homeruns by just buying straddles on everything with basically free options.

And as you know, if everybody tries to do something, the system finds a way to fuck everybody. IE- the stocks don't move.
