Ties into the trimtabs comments. 5:07PM American Express $8 bln debt shelf (AXP) 40.61 +0.14: Reuters reporting that American Express Credit Corp., a unit of American Express (AXP), filed with the SEC to periodically sell up to $8 billion in debt securities and warrants; proceeds to be used to reduce short-term debt.
