Oracle Meets Lowered EPS Expectations

Boston, Mar 14, 2002 (MidnightTrader via COMTEX) -- Oracle (ORCL) tonight reported income of $0.09 per share on revenue of $2.2 billion in the third quarter. This compares with income of $0.10 per share on revenue of $2.67 billion in the same quarter a year ago. Analysts expected the company to report income of $0.09 per share on revenue of $2.4 billion, according to First Call.
Third quarter operating margin improved two percentage points to 35% versus 33% the prior year. Stock is down on Island.
