who told my dear friend that the name of Christianity was in the cross. The Bible does not preach that which verse say so? the word Christian my dear friend was used 3 times in the bible: first by the pagans and Jews in Antioch about 43 AD, long after Jesus had left the earth. Read in Acts 11:26: "... And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch". later by King Agrippa II to Paul in Acts 26:28: "then Agrippa said unto Paul, "almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian" (so it was given by foes rather than friends) again Jesus was dead at that time. and finally by Peter in his letter to comfort the faithfull in I Peter 4;16 "yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed" the rest is just speculation and mythology by the way I strongly advise you to read "The Jesus Mysteries" written by Christians it was the book of the year and best seller in England Peace be upon you my dear friend
