UBS cuts estimates for Juniper, Sonus, Nortel, Tellabs UBS Warburg lowers estimates and maintains Hold ratings for a number of communications equipment makers: cuts JNPR's 2002-03 ests to $0.13 and $0.30 from $0.21 and $0.43 due to weak fundamentals in the core router mkt and reduces price target to $14 from $22; cuts SONS's 2002-03 ests to ($0.15) and ($0.07) from ($0.08) and $0.02 due to low visibility and struggling emerging carrier customers and lowers price target to $4.50 from $6.00; cuts 2002-03 ests to ($0.25) and $0.08 from ($0.19) and $0.21 due to overall industry slowdown and cuts price target to $6.25 from $7.50; and cuts TLAB's 2002-03 ests to $0.20 and $0.40 from $0.25 and $0.50 due to a slow start in Q1 RBOC and IXC spending in the US as well as a lack of new customers for the new TITAN 6000 series product, maintains $15 price target.
