I did buy this morning and a few minutes ago the ask was back to 19, so I don't feel stupid at all (right now anyway). Everyone knows how you feel about APCC, but my investment is not based solely on emotion.

We know this stock can go up to 30 because it's already done so. With steadily increasing earnings I think it's just a matter of time (I'm expecting no longer than 6-12 months) before it does so again. It's the recognized leader in its industry, which to me was reinforced when HP allied with APCC. Power outage season is nearly upon those of us who live in the West. The company is working on the country of India. I wouldn't put everything I owned into this one company, but I'm real comfortable with it composing about 7% of my stock portfolio. Too bad all you can do is bash it! <g>

BTW, I agree with you about APM (which I recently bought) and WDC (which I like but feel is less of a bargain than SEG).
