Hi - Thought I would update reply #470 re: EPA Regs. Spoke with Rick Copland today at EPA re: medical waste incinerators regulations that I mentioned in my message #470 to you. Rick said that they are going to be issued on June 25th. It is a "hard date" because the EPA is under a court order to have them issued before August, 1997. These regulations are guidelines issued to the states who then are to submit their respective plan to come into compliance with these new regulations to the EPA. There are several time frames for the states to come into compliance and they are based upon if a state does or does not submit a plan to the EPA by August, 1998 or no later than August, 1999. The "net" of the various time frame alternatives for existing medical waste incinerators to come into compliance with these new EPA regulations ranges from the years 2000 through 2002. You may request the final 100+ page regulations from Rick via E-Mail at copland-rick@epamail.epa.gov after the July 25th approval. Perhaps this update may asisst you and others in deciding to be long on OREX, "take the money off the table" or to take a short position. Good Luck, Rob
