Many of the statements in your outrageous post have been already addressed; therefore, I shall resign myself to answering only a few.
and you ask what other Muslims have been doing... well, everyone is doing what they can and feel comfortable with...
It strikes me that a majority of Muslims are quite comfortable with accepting absolutely no responsibility for the attacks. Interestingly, though, coinciding with every last denial we have heard from the Muslim world, we hear moral justifications for violence, some of them concerning Israel, some American foreign policy. Now, please explain how Muslims can deny responsibility on the one hand, and then excuse the act on the other? This kind of blatant prevarication and illogical nonsense I see in your posts also. It is a common thread I have detected throughout most Muslim statements.
the mere fact that Muslims rejected the idea that it was Muslims and Arabs behind the 9/11 acts should be an indication to you that this is not the true nature of Islam... and the reaction was based on shock and disbelief... hence the response, "it can't be Muslims... it must be a fabrication..." ...however, you and others elect to interpret that differently.
Osama bin Laden declared war on America. Laughing, he not only acknowledged but took pride in his responsibility for mass murder on videotape. If Muslims are unwilling to face facts, then what are we to do. As IGIT said, teach you what is the truth, whether you like it or not.
...the hype of violence sells better with the networks than the attempt of finding truths...
Excuse me?! 3,000 murdered Americans is no hype! I find your statement here absolutely outrageous. You are offensive in the extreme, and here I know 99% of Americans agree with me. If your statements accurately represent the sentiments of mainstream, so-called "peaceful" Muslims, then I fear for the future. I can tell you this, however, my dear fellow: if the so-called "clash of civilizations" materializes, it shall be the Islamic world which shall find that the quiet, contemplative, slow-moving machinations of democracy are infinitely more powerful than the hatred, bloodlust and inhumanity, borne of ignorance and jealousy, which is not only the face, but I am beginning to believe, the heart, of Islam today. |
