Lots of companies, unions, associations, and individuals have a say in the democratic process, and lots of their ideas get adopted.
Does that mean that they are wrong, bad, or corrupt, or that those who listen to and agree with them are wrong, bad, or corrupt?
If your answer is "yes," then you can indict 100% of all elected representatives at every level of federal, state, and local government, and 100% of all bureaucrats who rely on input from non-government sources.
You can also kiss the country good-bye, because what you would be calling for would be for government to operate in a sterile vacuum, without the input that it needs to conduct the people's day-to-day affairs. |
