When the "public good is sacrificed"? Like when Enron wanted the Kyoto treaty to be adopted by the U.S. and would have profited from it, but Bush nixed it for the greater public good?

You don't think some DemocRAT lawmakers warmly welcome union officials or environmental lobbyists into their private offices at any time day and night, while never meeting with certain business people? Is that for the public good?
