AMD has a model 2800+ planned for the fourth quarter of the year. I am sure that it's within their capabilities to achieve this goal. I was merely wondering how close they are to getting that level of performance today. If their .13u process is already yielding chips that can run at 2.2GHz, that is good. If they need "exotic" cooling, that is not nearly as impressive, as I'm sure you already know.
