Almost unblemished this morning... Took a 3-point shot in double overtime, with 2-hundredths of a second remaining to keep me from perfection... Oh well... Florida deserved to lose. They had their chances, and quite simply blew it... Let's see... No one in the Kinkos tournament is perfect anymore, so the $10M is safe for another year. Technically, the $1M is still at risk, but there's no telling if any of the 4 remaining players who have a shot at that prize have their lone loss advancing any further in the tournament. So, at this point, even the $1M is looking like a pipe dream at best... Jerry Tarkanian hung up his towel this morning. When he was at UNLV, he was among my most favorite coaches to watch. I often wonder how many towels he "ate" during a season... He'll be missed. For those who don't know, he's been at Fresno State the last few seasons... "Tark the Shark" should become a collegiate Hall of Famer at the earliest opportunity... KJC
