How do you measure success or failure? You said yourself that Intel's Pentium III still cost more than the Athlon, while it underperformed. I'm sure you'll admit that the Willamette wasn't any better. Yet Intel lowered prices, and you think that was a bad idea. Doesn't *holding* market share account for some kind of success? Maybe Intel's goals are different than yours. You think?
