In the meantime, I'll assure that the key question you need to ask is "how do we defeat the latency?"

For you see, CSCO has sold far too many routers. The Net is far too complex too handle VoIP on the public net. It'll only work with relatively hop-less connections and seriously limited OEO conversions. But I'm yammering. Ask Frank, or ftth, or the Stock Fairy. They have real answers to your question.
