Well, cracked the top 5000 at 4999 in the Kinko's standings... Despite the fact that the completion of tonight's games finishes the elimination of half the teams, and this is only 1 game over the halfway point, I don't think that I can catch all of the top players even if I won out the rest of my picks. I'd have to overcome a 5 point lead (I had 25 out of a possible 32; the current leader had 30 out of 32.) and my picks aren't sufficient underdogs to overcome 4998 other people's best efforts. So, my realistic goal at this point would be to finish in the top 100 or so. Went 4 for 4 in the late games, so that was 14 out of 16 for the day. St. John's had a disappointing effort, and Florida just plain blew their game against Creighton. KJC
