A religion that has as it's core beliefs that it is okay to kill all non muslims, that a muslim cannot be punished for killing a non muslim, only another muslim, that believes it is okay to take a non muslims property, etc etc etc, is an inherently bad religion. I don't even consider it a religion, I consider it to be the same as hitler's beliefs about aryans (sp) vs non aryans.
All muslims believe in these things, if they don't they don't believe in islam. That's what islam is.
Now people can say I am bigoted, but I think really that that's just a cop out, a way to avoid forcing themselves to take a good hard look at the religion. It's easy to say "oh you're a bigot" that enables you to not confront the issue.
People can't deny that these things are there, and people can't deny that this is what the muslims believe in, because the quotes are taken from their holy books, they're not being made up by people that have an agenda of telling the big lie to cause trouble. These things are written in black and white, they're not being pulled out of some magician's hat. The big lie is being propagated by people that say they are not there, or that they mean something other than what they mean. If I say I am going to kill you, how do you interpret it any other way than..I am going to kill you? Are people on different planets where words mean different things on their planet than they mean on our planet? When they say they are going to eat an orange, they really mean they are going to wash their cars?
The issue is a scary one, I realize that. But the thing is, we've got to take a look at this in depth, not just accept the slogans "Islam is a religion of peace", I see no evidence of that. I see the exact opposite. I see a people that are a threat to civilization. Why hasn't the "good" muslims stamped out the "bad" muslims if they were all so good? They haven't because they all believe in the same thing.In non muslim religions there are 'breaking aways", and people have started new religions, although they are based loosely on the original. They've just thrown out the things they don't like or agree with. I'm not aware of all this diversity of islam like there is in other religions, if there is, point it out, compare and contrast, show where the difference are, show where they have thrown out these ideas of killing all non muslims, approval of treating women with all equality. I don't think people can.
If it makes me a bigot because I say/believe that islam is a bad religion, that it has to be changed one way or another, by force if necessary, well, then I'll just have to live with my being a bigot.
Because when a person says that it's okay to kill me, just because I don't worship the way they do, I believe.... that's exactly what they mean, that they're not kidding around, it's not just an april fools joke, a practical joke, pulling my leg....They mean what they say......... That it's okay to kill me. |
