There would be no reason for Cheney to seek support for a war against a third-rate power like Iraq. The days of "coalition building" to cover what needs doing with the left ended September 11. No one cares what the left thinks anymore. Cheney's mission was a warning: "Get on board or make the short list of who's next." The failure of "respectable" Islam to condemn terrorism and join the fight to stamp it out has not gone unnoticed in the West. The foolishness of "respectable" Islam threatens to make this a religious war-which they cannot possibly win...
