Hank bets down because short-sellers make money faster.

You can take all day to make what a short-seller can make in less than an hour, provided you are correct in your determination of what will happen. Again, stopping yourself out is important. Also, Hank plays the spoos more than the OEX and sometimes puts in "reverse stops"---something than can be risky if you don't know what is going on.

A reverse is when you are short (for example) a contract and your stop is perhaps 2 points higher. A reverse...only played early in the day if at all...is when you make that stop an order to buy 2 contracts, thereby changing your position from net short to net long.
