Alomex,
You'll get no argument out of me that Apple has suffered from arrogance during most of their existence. It's been a standard feature until Gil Amelio came along. In fact, all your points are well taken. I suppose I'm putting a lot of hope into Rhapsody and the YellowBox Libraries, with OS 8 as a stable transition OS. Early reports are very positive in this regard, but the rubber has yet to meet the road. This is definitely a "Hail Mary" play. Regarding the idea that Windows is superior to the MacOS, I've have had many "discussions" with computer professionals that use Windows, that maintain this position. It's also the general message that the media infers. In short, the truth has never been public knowledge. And to be fair, MicroSoft propaganda has been very effective. Apple did drop the ball. Let's hope that, unlike RCA, Motorola and Magnavox (TV makers), they get a second chance. At least they don't have the Japanese on their ass. Only Bill Gates.
Regards,
