Which is why we have prevailing wage laws. Keep reminding your Republican friends of that fact when they scream about prevailing wage laws.

The problem of illegals, from your viewpoint, might currently be described as a "lose-lose." The Democrats see these workers as potential voters; and there's no outrage from the Republicans because this wave of workers from south of the border provides businesses of every stripe in every state with a steady source of cheap labor. And, as we know, the GOP always listens very carefully when the chambers of commerce talk.

So, the bottom line is, nothing is going to happen on this front.
