As a limited liability partnership, partners personal assets are generally protected against all liabilities [including torts], except certain trade payables which likely would be nominal at best. Further, in this latter category, one would expect that liabilities would be structured to be nonrecourse. Exceptions to the protection for personal assets would be for those partners who are found to have directly done something wrong, their supervisors and others that have, or should have had, knowledge of the wrongdoing.
