I think it's about 60/40 that the group will close down rather than up on Monday Don. I'm presently looking for oversold semiconductor stocks and it is slim pickings. As I look through the charts throughout the semiconductor industry I find very few that are close enough to being oversold to be interesting to me.
In the semiconductor equipment group I see MTSN which closed at 6.11. I would give it a buy rating at around 5 1/2.

In DRAM I like MU here at 33 but would like it much better at 30.

If we get enough warnings this week the SOX will fall to the the 50 day moving average at 558 by Tuesday.

Keep in mind that despite the up move on Friday the last three sessions all are within the large down move shown in Wednesday's candlestick. Friday was simply a bit of consolidation. We have not had enough selling yet to create a substantial move higher before we get into actual earnings in my opinion. Disclaimer: I own none of the stocks discussed in this post and would enjoy hearing from other posters. If the SOX falls far enough I will be buying stocks not discussed in this post at all.
