Hi Joel, <<and do you mean politically speaking or in regard only to taking a Flyer?>>

Good question, and one I did not distinguish in my coconut, but if I were to do so now, I must say the latter, because the former is not affordable now as I thunk. You know, the 'with you or against you' high school chant is what passes for policy these days, on SI, everywhere, concerning equity cult and all manner of other beliefs.

I fault the accounting system; yes, the one that had something to do with Enron, DotCom, one hundred thousand coal-fired generators is better than one hydro dam, and twin deficit can be kept up forever.

Oops, there I go again. Make storage space. I am on a roll. May soon be time to drag in MeDroogies again for a look into a stranger's mind.

In all seriousness, there will come a day when one can no longer afford to speak of doomed equity, and gloomed bonds, and that is the day I turn Barton Biggs 100% maximum bullish. In Japan, that day is not yet, and in fact is far away from arriving.

Chugs, Jay
