It is very unfortunate. I realize that there are good as well as bad Muslims, but as you say, where is the compassion? Where is the outrage from the Muslim community?

Until average Muslims demands that the hateful teachings of their self anointed leaders end, and they join the 21st century, the threat remains. I wonder how the hateful teachings can end when their holy book directs them otherwise in parts of it's scripture? The excuse that all holy books advocate hate in some of their passages is no excuse. Modern western man has been able to rise above biblical scripture that doesn't take the health of the entire community into consideration. Muslims haven't been able to do that, or so it seems. The violence is acceptable to too many Muslims.

This is just how it appears to me.
