Well Bush drew a line in the sand when he emphatically stated that we will not allow any terrorist sponsoring country to develop nuclear weapons. That's not his exact words but.....he has to keep that pledge now. And it's common knowledge that Iraq is very close to completing a weapon. So we either have to strike ourselves or talk Israel into it. Either way it's asking for another war. Oil embargoes against us....recession. And windfall profits for American oil companies. Gouging at the pump. It's more likely Israel will do it, as they did before. They absolutely cannot allow nuclear weapons to their enemies. Even if it may lead to war, they have to strike. And we have to back them if Bush is going to keep his word. I'm sure he'd like it all to be UN sponsored though to share responsibility. I believe that there are secret talks on this issue between the administration and Israel and that Bush wants to act decisively. I don't know that, I just think it has to be that way.
