There was an idea of mining the methane frozen in the sea bed and under the Artic Tundra.
Like I said: Energy sources ending, prices will go up and it will become economic to seek this stuff.

Now if the planet warms up, you've got more evaporation. More clouds, means a blanket that reflects lights back to space. Then we will have more snow fall with a larger area - which will last longer- "painted" white which also reflects light back to space.

Then there is that wobble in the earth axis -said to trigger glaciations but -you get it- that needs more research.

Read at the end of the article the tell tale of more research needed:

"The debate is now about whether hydrates may actually drive natural climate warming or whether they just go along for the ride."

Once they debate hydrates, they will find another new debate, and so it goes.
