I say the decrease in crime in the District of Columbia is due to the fact that poor black women are encouraged to have the skull of the child they are carrying smashed in and this over the years has lead to a reduction on those who were born and grew up to be criminals. I know of no direct cause and effect evidence between gun laws and gun deaths. The gun deaths are dozens of times more in the District of Columbia over may places the have no restrictions on guns.
