There has been at least 4 times in my life that guns have deterred something from happening that could have very well been life threatening....none of those times made news (luckily) nor did they happen into any statistics biased or otherwise....i am sure others have had similar experiences....i have seen posts from ish that stated the same..... I have owned guns for 40 years....and i can tell you it is a very long wait sometimes for the law to show up on the scene....i will never freely give mine up..
