Never have popped a cap AT someone but having a gun has stopped some violence. When I lived in town in a nice neighborhood I got a bunch of flowers and a thank you. Seems that when I got up early one morning to go duck hunting and turned on the lights I scared the beJesus out of a pervert who was stalking a neighbor who was nursing her infant. Seems he was the same guy I had snicked back the hammer on my .44 Magnum a little time before. That snick had a way of causing loose bowels.
